Tools for Thinking

We are living in an Information Age, where not just physical tools are required, but also new intellectual tools.

I'd like to quote to Richard Florida by his book The Great Reset: "For the first time in human history, further economic development requires the further development and use of human creative capabilities".

I want to share, what I consider my best tools for new ways of thinking.

  • System Thinking: Being in College was a great stint to acquire knowledge. The concept of seeing things more widely, that feed back itself, changed my mind and it is the most important tool I learned there.

  • Visual Thinking: Our working memory is limited to 3-5 chunks of storage in adults. So the best way to use it, is by filling those chunks with more complex schemas. A structured data as an image inside our schema is worth a thousand words.

  • Design Thinking: This way of thinking tells us. To plan the basis, to discover the system design goal.

I open to hear about yours!
